First steep pours a pale, almost clear gold, but the mouthfeel is silky and the flavor is so delicate it's almost sweet without any sugar. I've been brewing it a bit cooler than my usual black teas and it's become my quiet afternoon ritual.
The few-day harvest window each spring is exactly why I grabbed this, and the leaves are so uniformly silvery and downy that you can tell the picking was meticulous. Steeping it is a quiet ritual now, and that light golden cup tastes cleaner than any white tea I’ve tried before.
That light golden liquor is so delicate and clean, it’s like drinking fresh mountain air. The buds are incredibly fluffy and intact, and the flavor stays soft and sweet even after the third steep.
